Hi Ian. Thank you for your comment. Fusion Health Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and helps to revitalise hair follicles. We have had some great success with various forms of alopecia but can’t guarantee it can help for all types, particularly if genetics play a major role. Our hair products are formulated with Phytofol, a proprietary extract of an ancient herb (Fallopia multiflora) traditionally taken to nourish Liver Blood and replenish Kidney Essence (Jing), which improves blood flow to the scalp and revitalises hair follicles. This in turn, can promote healthy hair growth, colour and condition. We recommend the Hair Tonic at 2 capsules twice daily ( 12 years +) or 1 capsule twice daily (6-12years) companioned with Hair, Skin & Nails 1 tablet daily after food, to provide essential nutrients to feed the hair follicles. We would love to hear how you daughter goes if you decide to try the formulas.

Hi there, After having 3 kids over the last 6 years and being low in iron (anaemic), my hair has suffered terribly and thinned out so so much. I heard about Hair Tonic and the Hair, Skin & Nails formula and wanted to try them. But I’m concerned about the warning label stating that polygonum multiflorum may harm the liver in some people.

  • Naturopath
    Posted October 4, 2013 at 1:45 am

Hi Vassi, thank you for your comment. Ensure your iron levels are healthy, as low iron can affect hair health. The warning we have on the Fusion Health Hair Tonic and Hair, Skin& Nails labels is a mandatory requirement of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia. Some extracts of Fallopia multiflora on the market contain compounds that may be harmful to the liver.

However the Fallopia multiflora root we use in the Hair Tonic is a specially prepared extract called Phytofol, prepared by a specific process that minimises the content of potentially toxic compounds in the extract, enhances the tonic action and reduces any potential for adverse effects. The formula also contains many herbs that work synergistically together to improve safety and effectiveness, a number of herbs in the formula provide liver protective actions as well as other beneficial phyto-chemicals and phyto-nutrients. Fusion health products are manufactured in Australia and tested at every stage of manufacture to ensure safety of our products.

Feel free to contact us if you have specific enquiries about finding the most appropriate Fusion Health formula for you.

Hi Dell, Hair Tonic is an appropriate formula for you. It works by revitalising hair follicles, to support new hair growth. The recommended dose is 2 capsules twice daily, companioned with 1 Hair, Skin & Nails tablet, to feed hair follicles the essential nutrients for condition and strength. Let us know how you go

I am a 72 years young female and I am experiencing thinning hair. I had a traumatic experience about 20 years ago and must have experienced some form of alopecia. I noticed that no new hair was growing around my hairline top of my head. I have managed so far because my hair must have been quite thin. However I now find that my hair is thinning and I can see my scalp. Can any of your hair products help me grown my hair back?

Hi Jan, Hair Tonic and Hair Skin & Nails would be appropriate for you. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides the essential nutrients to nourish and strengthen hair. You are welcome to contact us for more personalised advice, particularly if you feel stress was a trigger to your hair loss, as a comprehensive approach to your health could also include specific companion products to nourish your nervous system.

  • Naturopath
    Posted October 15, 2013 at 4:33 am

Hi Siyad, Yes Hair Tonic and Hair, Skin & Nails are appropriate for you. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides nutrients to nourish the hair. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food. We recommend staying on this dose for at least 2-3 months before assessing how the formulas are working for you. Some people get results sooner, others who have experienced hair loss for a long time find it can take longer to work. If your hair loss is typical of male-pattern baldness (balding on the crown of the head) you may want to combine 2 capsules of Men’s Balance to help balance male hormones that can be associated with this type of balding.

I am a 79-year-old male. My loss of hair is hereditary. Even a female relative of mine had very thin hair. Decades ago I went to a Hair Specialist, whose aim I eventually decided was just to sell hairbrushes and tonics to be rubbed into the scalp. All this succeeded to do was give me a reputation for smelling bad. Do you think your Chinese herbs might have a better effect? Like Rob who contacted you on October 7, 2013, I take Coumadin. My G P always knows from my INR blood tests when I have been taking Chinese herbs as they must affect the blood. He does not approve! What are your thoughts regarding the possibility of renewed hair growth?
BTW, I just saw your report on Today Tonight.

  • Robyn Teni
    Posted October 16, 2013 at 12:43 pm

I have had alopecia now for 27 years in some form or another. From long periods of total to patches. I was taking the multivitamin and the hair tonic but went off it when I developed palpitations after about 1 year. they settled and I have decided to try it again as my hair is extremely sparse and patchy. The health food shop where I purchase your product from advised me to try the hair skin and nails as well as the multivitamin. Would I be able to have all three products or would it be better to have the hair tonic and the hair skin and nails and not the multivitamin. Thankyou for your advice also how long can you safely stay on the tablets.

    Posted October 17, 2013 at 1:21 am

Hi Nina, thank you for your query. It’s worth a try as we have had good feedback from people experiencing various types of alopecia. Given however, your hair loss is extensive and started some time ago, you would most likely need to be taking the products longer than the advised 3-4 months before assessing their benefits. You are welcome to contact us for more comprehensive and personalised product advice. Please let us know how you go, we would love to hear from you.

Hi, had chemo for hodgkins lymphoma, my hair started to grow initially then fell out again in January of this year (2013), and seems to grow back in tiny amounts then at plug stage fall outs again. Would it be safe for me to take this tonic considering that Ive undergone Chemo treatment? Your advice would be very helpful as I have no hair on my body including no eyebrows or eyelashes.

Hi Naturopath. My story is similar to Siyad who posted on October 12, 2013 at 5:37 am. I also have thinning hair and male pattern baldness. To my understanding reading through the reader post’s and your reply I would need to take 2 capsules twice a day of Hair Tonic and 1 x capsule of Hair, Skin & Nails. I would also need to balance this with 2 capsules of Men’s Balance daily. Totalling 7 capsules daily…is this correct?

Hi John, The Phytofol in Hair Tonic increases hair follicle melanin to promote normal hair colour. This is normally beneficial for people experiencing premature greying, however it would be worth trying for your son if the blonde patches are recent. If he was born with the blonde patches I wouldn’t anticipate the product working.

Hi Taseen, We recommend including Men’s Balance to help balance male hormones that can be associated with male-pattern balding. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides nutrients to nourish the hair. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), one tablet of Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food plus 2 capsules of Men’s Balance daily.

Hi Robyn, palpitations are not an expected side effect of the products and should always be investigated with your Doctor. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides the essential nutrients to nourish and strengthen hair, you don’t need the multi vitamin as well. The products are fine to take long term. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food. You may want to reduce this dose in the future to just 1 or 2 Hair Tonic capsules to maintain healthy hair.

Hi Michelle, the Fusion Multivitamin & Mineral Advanced is great multi with all the vitamins and minerals needed for general health and daily antioxidant support. For hair growth and condition we recommend the Hair Tonic companioned with the nutritional supplement Hair, Skin & Nails (instead of the multi vitamin). Hair, Skin & Nails provides silica and Phytofol plus the essential vitamins and minerals specific to nourishing and strengthening hair. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food.

You may also benefit from Women’s Balance as it can balance the hormones after childbirth plus provide Blood nourishing and tonic effects similar to Hair Tonic which encourages healthy hair growth and condition. Hi Margo, For hair loss typical of androgenic alopecia (female-pattern baldness) we recommend; Men’s Balance (2 daily) to help balance hormones that can be associated with this type of hair loss, both men and women can use this formula. We recommend combining it with Hair Tonic (2 capsule twice daily) to promote healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails (1 tablet daily after food) providing nutrients to nourish and strengthen the hair. This regimen would be useful for you if have live hair follicles, as the formulas only work on revitalising live hair follicles.

Hi Chintan, thank you for your comment. It’s worth a try since we have had such good feedback, both from adults and children. The dose for a 6 year old is 1 capsule twice daily of the Hair Tonic (total 2 daily) and half a Hair, Skin & Nails tablet with food. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides the essential nutrients to nourish and strengthen hair.

Hi there, I am 29 and have always had very thin, weak hair. I also have thalassemia minor so have always been very low in iron, sometimes anaemic. I lost all my body hair 19 months ago. I was taking prednisone at the time as my eczema was ready painful, I was taken off this and put onto methotrexate by a specialist. I started to lose my hair almost immediately but was advised to keep taking it. I was taken off it by my GP after taking just 5 tablets but by then I had lost all my hair. Since then I have lost my eyelashes and eyebrows. My GP told me there is evidence of hair still there it is just not growing so consequently I look bald. I wondered if this hair tonic would help and also if it can be posted to other states.

    Posted October 28, 2013 at 2:46 am

Hi Donna. The products are still beneficial for hereditary hair loss. I suggest however, including Men’s Balance if your son’s thinning hair is due to male-pattern baldness. For hair loss typical of male-pattern baldness we recommend; Men’s Balance (2 daily) to help balance male hormones that can be associated with this type of hair loss, Hair Tonic (2 capsule twice daily) to promote healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails (1 tablet daily after food) providing nutrients to nourish and strengthen the hair.

  • Naturopath
    Posted October 28, 2013 at 3:06 am

Hi Sera, we recommend just taking the Hair Tonic (2 capsules twice daily), and Hair, Skin & Nails (one tablet after food). Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides the essential nutrients to nourish, condition and strengthen hair. The Women’s Balance and the Multi Vitamin Advanced are not necessary to include in your regimen. It is also important you support iron levels as low iron can be implicated in hair loss. Consider talking the Iron Blood Tonic (1 capsule twice daily, half an hour before meals), and always ensure your Doctor oversees anaemia management.

    Posted October 28, 2013 at 3:33 am

Hi Katie, thank you for your comment. I feel these products would be appropriate for you, since your doctor had indicated there is evidence of live hair follicles. Hair Tonic works on revitalising live follicles, helping hair from the resting phase of the hair growth cycle move into the growing phase. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food. You can order online from the Fusion Health website and we will post anywhere, or find the closest store to you by entering your postcode. Please contact us for personalised advice if you are still taking any medications.

Hi my son has alopecia areata and has currently lost a lot of hair with many patches on his head. He has been taking 2 fusion hair tonic in the morning and 2 at night plus 1 hair, skin and nail tablet for the last 8 weeks Last night I noticed maybe 10 small black spots which look like regrowth scattered over his head, is this possible and could the number of hair regrowths increase over the next few weeks

Hi Tammy. Both the Hair Tonic and Hair, Skin & Nails are safe to take. Whilst people can have sensitivities to anything (including herbs, natural products and even foods) we don’t have cases of people experiencing the types of side effects you mentioned attributed to these products. The amount of Phytofol in the Hair Tonic and the Hair, Skin & Nails is well within the therapeutic range even when combined together. In some instances, we have recommended a combination of the products with a total of 7000mg of Phytofol which is still within the label dosage range.

Hi Heidi, Yes the Hair Tonic would be appropriate for you. It promotes hair volume and also supports the rate of hair growth. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily) of Hair Tonic, and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food.

Hi Maree, thank you for your comment. Yes, the spots may well be the beginnings of hair growth. I suggest continuing with the current regimen and reassess in a few more weeks. Please let us know of your son’s progress. Some people like to take photos to help them track and monitor their progress.

Hi, I have thinning hair so I have been taking the Hair Tonic tablets – 2 tablets a day for about 8 months now. Sometimes I will also take the multivitamin and mineral tablets. I haven’t really seen any improvement in my hair. Should I increase Hair Tonic tablets to 4 a day? Also; do you recommend that I take the Hair, Skin & Nails tablets as well? Thanks for your help.

Hi Sys, thanks for your comment. Yes, increase the dose to the therapeutic level of 2 Hair Tonic capsules twice daily. You can decrease to a maintenance dose in the future, but start on 4 a day. You don’t need to take the multi vitamin, instead we recommend taking the Hair Skin & Nails (just 1 tablet with food daily) as the specific nutritional companion to the Hair Tonic. People generally get results within 2-3 months on this regimen, however it does depend on the extent and duration of hair loss. Please let us know how you go, we love feedback.

I am 28 yrs old male with both hair loss and premature greying problem. The back of my head is almost 50% grey and I have tried various supplement over the years but to no avail. I have been taking Hair Tonic (4 capsules daily) for about 3 months and I noticed that it is helping my hair grow thicker and reduced hair loss. However, it doesn’t seem to by helping with my greying problem. Since TCM often associated greying with kidney health, should I take Kidney Tonic as well? Thanks

Hi Rose, thanks for your comment. Yes the Hair Tonic and Hair, Skin & Nails would be useful for you to try. If however you hair loss is due to female-pattern baldness, we recommend including; Men’s Balance (2 daily) to help balance hormones that can be associated with this type of hair loss. This formulas is suitable for men and women with hair loss typical of male and female-pattern baldness. We recommend combining the product with Hair Tonic (2 capsule twice daily) to promote healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails (1 tablet daily after food) providing nutrients to nourish and strengthen the hair. Hi Sean, thanks for your feedback. That’s great Hair Tonic has promoted an increase in your hair growth. We do get feedback that Hair Tonic is also helpful in reducing grey hairs, however if you have haven’t seen results yet then including Kidney Tonic is an excellent way of promoting normal hair colour particularly if early greying hair is passed down in your family. We recommend combining 2 Kidney Tonic tablets to your current regimen, ideally between 5-7pm which is ‘Kidney time’ on the Chinese organ-meridian clock.

Hi Sai, it’s not mandatory but you will get better results if you combine them as Hair, Skin & Nails increases the clinical effects of Hair Tonic. They also do different things; Hair Tonic promotes hair growth and the Hair, Skin & Nails provides silica and Phytofol plus the essential vitamins and minerals specific to nourishing and strengthening hair. If you wanted to take one formula, Hair Tonic is the main one, but if you want to get optimal results we suggest taking both.

Women’s Balance will balance your menstrual cycle and promote hair growth, it’s not necessary to take Hair Tonic as well. • Naturopath

Hi Tamseen, the Hair, Skin & Nails can make your urine extra yellow due to the B group vitamins. B vitamins (especially B2) increase the colour. This can occur with any supplement containing B vitamins.

Which products do you suggest I take for general hair loss? Can your products help? I was always experiencing some hair loss (for the past 10 years and I’m 28 now) but in the last year my hair thinned out significantly – to the point where my scalp is easily visible. I seem perfectly healthy (all blood test are perfect as well as the hormone levels-and I have no medical conditions) and doctors do not know why my hair is falling out. Stress seems to be the only potential cause. Do you think hair tonic or woman’s balance would be beneficial?

I am a 26 year old male. Experiencing hair loss around the crown and the top of my head. Still got decent coverage and would like to maintain and possibly regrow. Great believer in alternate natural medicine and quite excited to try the hair tonic. My only concern is while doing a quick research on the ingredients I came across a study according to which Polygonum Multiflorum/ Ho Shou Wu has high Estrogenic activity. Since it produces Estrogen (female hormone), would like to seek your advise if it is safe to take for men.

Hi, I have Androgenic Alopecia & have been suffering with this for over 6 years, I’m 31, and have started taking hair tonic 2 in morn & 2 at night.
I am also taking 1 hair skin & nails daily & 1 multivitamin & mineral balance (All Fusion). The vitamin shop who has supplied me, suggested this as the recommended dose. I’m am wondering if this is all I need to be taking, they suggested perhaps 4-6 months before noticing any major improvements, I am ok with this as it has been such a drawn out condition & if it means I will get my hair back, I’m ok with time.
Should I be taking anything else? I have read previous posts about male supplements, I really am not keen on anything that puts more hormones into my body.
    Thanks, Nat

  • Naturopath
    Posted December 10, 2013 at 3:07 am

Hi Liko, thanks for your comment. The Hair Tonic is certainly appropriate for men to use. According to our research Phytofol® (Fallopia multiflora also known as Polygonum multiflorum or He Shou Wu) does not have estrogenic activity. It does have some 5-alpha reductase inhibitory action; helping to balance the conversion of testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). This is different however, to being estrogenic. Feel free to email us the article link you found.

For hair loss typical of male-pattern baldness we recommend combining the Hair Tonic (2 capsules twice daily) with Men’s Balance (2 daily) which is more specific in balancing male hormones (via the action outlined above) that can be associated with male-pattern baldness. We also recommend including Hair, Skin & Nails (1 tablet daily with food) to nourish and strengthen the hair.

  • Naturopath
    Posted December 10, 2013 at 3:31 am

Hi Nat, your regimen is great. You probably don’t need to do the Multi Vitamin long term though, as the Hair, Skin & Nails is the ‘multi’ for the hair. Most people get results in 2-3 months, but since your hair loss began some time ago it may take longer for you to get benefit. We do recommend including the Men’s Balance for Androgenic Alopecia (male or female-pattern baldness). Men’s Balance doesn’t give you hormones and it’s fine for both men and women to take (as women have testosterone too). It helps inhibit the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a type of testosterone associated with the hair loss pattern typical of Androgenic Alopecia. DHT can cause hair follicles to shrink over time, resulting in shorter hair growth phases which can lead to thinning hair. We recommend combining just 2 Men’s Balance capsules with your current regimen.

Hi. I started taking Fusion Health Hair Tonic and Fusion Health hair, skin and nails, the therapeutic dose. After a couple of days I started to get itchy spots on my scalp, it’s been a week now and I have a few on my neck, arms and legs (very few, they are mainly on my scalp). They are extremely itchy! I don’t have any known allergies, although I had a really bad hay fever attack last year and it is worse this year. I don’t take any medication for it though.
Just wanted to know, if you have heard of this happening to anyone who has taken the products? I hope it is just a sign that it is working to balance my kidney and liver or something. I really want this to work! And whether this will subside once everything is in balance.
    Thanks in advance!

Hello naturopath, After my first son I lost alot of hair but eventually it stopped falling out, however, after my second son its been two years and I have lost alot of hair that it is really thin along the hair line and all over really, I am starting to see my scalp and getting quite worried. I have been to the dr and had blood test for hormone imbalance, nothing came back imbalanced, however my dr said it is a testostirone sensitivity as I have acne around my chin aswell. I havent slept much in five years and been very stressed, which may also be the cause. I am just tired of being told so many things and just really need some direction. You don’t need to include Women’s Balance as well.

If your hair loss is due to a testosterone sensitivity, I also recommend including Men’s Balance (2 daily half an hour before meals). This product helps balance male hormones that can be associated with both male and female-pattern baldness, so would be quite supportive for you.

Hi, thank you for your comment. Androgenic alopecia is characterised by a high conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This high level of level of DHT, and a genetic sensitivity of the hair follicle to DHT can cause the follicles to shrink and shorten the hair lifespan. Androgenic alopecia is best diagnosed by a practitioner in a face-to-face consultation. If this is the case for you, we recommend; Men’s Balance (2 daily) to help balance male hormones that can be associated with male-pattern baldness, Hair Tonic (2 capsule twice daily) to promote healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails (1 tablet daily after food) providing nutrients to nourish and strengthen the hair. Let us know how you go.

Hi I’ve been suffering from hair loss for approx 2 yrs now. It seems I have a recurring b12 deficiency. I’ve been taking fusion hair tonic and multi vitamin and mineral advanced on and off, throughout this time I have good times and bad times in regards to my hair loss. It’s a general thinning of my hair esp when my b12 is getting low, and when my hair starts falling out I stress which seems to make it worse. I’m also on and off low in iron. What products would you recommend for my condition? I’m currently taking hair tonic multi vitamin and the organic iron all fusion products, anything I can take to help the b12 problem?

  • Naturopath

Hi Danni, thank you for your comment. I recommend the following Fusion products for you; Hair Tonic (2 capsules twice daily), Hair Skin & Nails providing essential vitamins and minerals specific for hair health (1 daily with breakfast) and Iron Advanced (1 with food). It’s important you take a separate B12 supplement to address your B12 deficiency, and you have a practitioner monitor both your B12 and iron levels. This is important for both your hair health and general health. Hope this info helps Danni.

I am currently taking Hair tonic along with skin tonic. In addition, I would like to take Hair, Skin & Nails formula. I’m wondering if these are all safe to take at the same time or if it’s not recommended because of high levels of don quai or any other herbs?

Hi Gillious, thanks for your comment. You can certainly take Hair Tonic, Skin Tonic and Hair Skin & Nails together. They are compatible together, taking into consideration all the herbs combined. Hair Tonic and Skin Tonic are best half an hour before meals, we recommend taking Hair Skin & Nails with food.

Hi, I have suffered from alopecia universalis since I was 6 years old, and will be turning 21 this year. I have no hair at all but I do have some eyelashes, and normal thin blonde facial hair like every girl does, and if you look really closely there is white fluff on my head but that’s all it’s ever been. Do you think that the hair tonic and hair skin and nails could give me some results?

Hi, I am in my late fifties. I have been suffering from hair loss for a few years now. It has become more acute all of a sudden. Is there a remedy for this?

Hi Alana, thank you for your comment. We have had good feedback from other people using the formulas who also have alopecia universalis. Whilst results aren’t a guarantee I do think it’s worth a try. We recommend Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily and 1 Hair Skin & Nails with food. An extra dose of each may be added to your regimen, however I suggest starting with my recommendations first and then let us know how you go. Visible results can take 2-4 months, in your case Alana it may take at least 4 months or longer to gain benefits. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Lizz, yes Hair Tonic and Hair Skin & Nails would be appropriate for you. Hair Tonic promotes healthy hair growth and Hair, Skin & Nails provides the essential nutrients to nourish and strengthen hair. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food. If your hair loss has become very acute all of a sudden, I also suggest consulting with a practitioner to oversee your healthcare.

I woke up next morning with Savior stomach pains along with gas/chest pains. It has been three days now havent took them since the pain is still there. Can these tablets be the cause?

hello, i’m a male and my hair has been rapidly thinning for the last 6 months. would this product be a good idea for me?

  • Naturopath
    Posted February 5, 2014 at 11:12 pm

Hi Luke, thanks for your comment. Yes, Hair Tonic is a great idea. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily). They are best taken half an hour before food. We also recommend combining the nutritional companion Hair, Skin & Nails (one tablet after food) providing the essential vitamins and minerals to strengthen and condition hair. If your hair loss is typical of male-pattern baldness we also suggest including Men’s Balance (2 daily) to help balance male hormones that can be associated with male-pattern baldness. These capsules are also best taken half an hour before food.

Hi, I’m a 29 yr old male. I am quite healthy and active, and am careful about my diet. I started noticing signs of pattern baldness about 1 yr ago. I ignored this until recently, when hair loss began to accelerate.

My doctor has recently prescribed me 1/4 (one quarter) Finasteride Tablet (5mg) per day. I started taking this 2+ weeks ago.

Is this medication compatible with the Fusion Hair Tonic + Hair, Skin & Nails + Men’s Balance combination? Is there any overlap in the active ingredients? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi Petrus, thank you for your comment. We don’t have suppliers in Indonesia, we only have suppliers in Australia. You can however, easily order the Fusion products online. We recommend Hair Tonic (2 capsules twice a day), and Hair, Skin & Nails (one tablet daily after food).

I have a mild thinning hair on my right that I have noticed from last year in May. How long should I take the Hair Tonic for if I am recommended for 4 caps in a day?

  • Naturopath
    Posted February 20, 2014 at 10:25 pm

Hi Syd, yes 2 capsules twice daily (4) is the recommended dose. We also recommend combining it with 1 Hair, Skin & Nails tablet (with food) to provide the essential vitamins and minerals for healthy hair. We recommend staying on this dose for at least 2-4 months before assessing how the formulas are working for you.

Hi, I tried your products after suffering a relapse of alopecia with no improvement for 3 years. After buying a three month supply of hair tonic and multivitamin (July 2012) there was without a shadow of a doubt an improvement in the condition and texture of the small amount of hair I had left and I had new hair growth. Many people commented when I removed my hair piece and showed them. I ran out of the product about 3 to 4 months ago. Recently I have noticed the fullness of my hair deteriorating again and some hair falling out. I would love to continue taking the product as I believe it works. However, I live in Ireland. Previously I imported the tablets to Spain as I was living there and ended up paying almost more than the cost of the tablets, on taxes. Is there any solution to this? I am currently in Ireland so would need the tablets sent there.

Hi, I’m taking Fusion Hair Tonic in conjunction with Hair, Skin & Nails, Men’s Balance and Glucosamine 1500. I take the Hair Tonic half an hour before breakfast and the Hair, Skin & Nails, Men’s Balance and Glucosamine after breakfast. Do you think this is okay?

  • Naturopath
    Posted March 4, 2014 at 5:05 am

Hi Yvonne, that’s wonderful you have received such positive benefit from the products. You can purchase Fusion products online, postage costs are worked out at the end of the online transaction. You would need to work out tax costs from your end, as it’s not something we calculate. We now recommend Hair Skin & Nails (1 daily with food) as the companion to Hair Tonic instead of the Multi & Vitamin Advanced, as it contains silica and the essential vitamins and minerals for healthy hair.

    Posted March 4, 2014 at 5:13 am

Hi Gregory, thanks for your comment. Yes, this is fine. We recommend however; Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (2 capsules half an hour before breakfast and 2 half an hour before dinner), Hair Skin & Nails (1 tablet) after breakfast with Glucosamine. For best absorption I suggest having your Men’s Balance half an hour before your dinner with the Hair Tonic.

If I have success with new hair growth after taking the pills for a few months, how long before I can stop taking the pills? Or must I always continue to take them? Also can I also take Silicea Silica Gel while taking the Hair Tonic and Hair, Skin, and Nails pills?

  • Naturopath
    Posted March 9, 2014 at 11:32 pm

    Hi Melissa,
Results do differ from person to person, we recommend to take the products for at least 2-3 months before assessing how the formula(s)s are working for you. The time frame differs for everybody, you may notice a difference a lot sooner or it may take a bit longer.

Once you are happy with how your hair is looking you can then move down to a maintenance dose (2 per day) for a few months then gradually decrease the dose over the weeks if you would like to stop taking them. It is not a problem for you to take the Fusion Health Hair Tonic at a low dose over a long period of time, however if you wish to stop the formula we recommend to do so slowly rather than stopping all of a sudden.

The Hair, Skin & Nails formula contains 150mg of Silica, it is not necessary to take another silica supplement. It would be too much if you were to take a silica liquid as well.

    Hello there,

I was wondering if, besides taking the Hair Tonic with Hair, Skin & Nails and Men’s Balance, there is a tonic that could be applied directly on the scalp to help the hair to regrow faster.

    Any suggestion?

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Hi Edin,
Yes, the Hair Tonic would be appropriate for you. It promotes hair volume and also supports the rate of hair growth. We recommend starting on the therapeutic dose of Hair Tonic 2 capsules twice daily (total 4 daily), and one Hair, Skin & Nails tablet after food.

Results do differ from person to person, I recommend to take the products for at least 2-3 months before assessing how the formula(s)s are working for you. The time frame differs for everybody, you may notice a difference a lot sooner or it may take a bit longer.

It is not a problem for you to take the Fusion Health Hair Tonic at a low dose over a long period of time, however if you wish to stop the formula we recommend to do so slowly rather than stopping all of a sudden. The Hair, Skin & Nails can be taken long term, this is a great nutritional formula to help support healthy hair, skin & nails.

I posted some comments back in November 2013 regarding my hair loss and premature greying problem. Almost 5 months after my post, I’m glad to say that my daily regime of 2x Kidney Tonic + 2x Hair Tonic is working wonders on my hair. My hair is thicker than ever and my grey hair has reduced tremendously (about 20% now). I would recommend anyone who has hair loss and premature greying problem to have a go at this regime. Good luck!
